“Pet Sematary: Bloodlines” disappoints as a prequel to the Stephen King film adaptation. The film unfolds in 1969 Ludlow, Maine, and tries to explore the origins of the Mi’kmaq burial ground and the character of Jud Crandall. Jackson White plays Jud, a teenager eager to leave Ludlow with his girlfriend Norma (Natalie Alyn Lind).
